Welcome to #iPPP! GFunkified and I want to see your funny, your yummy, your heartfelt, your favorite phone photos of the week. All you need is a blog post containing at least one photo from any phone camera. Link up below!
Hi ya’ll. This week is slam-packed, brutal for me. Moving out is ALMOST over. We are so close, so close, so close. But it feels like I don’t have a second to spare. And with er’body in the bloggy world having a good linky right now, I’d like to do them all. Elaine is hosting Old School Blogging. Alison and Galit have Memories Captured. And of course there’s the always awesome iphone photo phun with Greta and me. Long live #ippp. I asked these ladies if they minded whether I posted one giant thing this week incorporating the three. They said go for it. So, here is my pieced together alphabet meme, memories captured, ippp goodness. If nothing else maybe you’ll just be distracted by the random pictures I threw in. Don’t mind the glue and staples.
A. Attached or Single? Quite attached thanks. His name is Mitchell. I believe I’ve mentioned him, oh, once or twice. Or five million times.
B. Best Friend? See A. Even though he left a bruise. An actual bruise! On my arm from our last round of punch bug. I’ll forgive him.
C. Cake or pie? Nobody throw things at me…neither. Since going gluten-free I don’t really eat baked goods. I’ve bought gluten free baking stuff. Just haven’t attempted anything yet.
D. Day of choice? Um, Sunday. Duh. It’s like you don’t even know me.
E. Essential Item? Easy friggin peasy. Camera. Either phone or DLSR. Just as long as I have one on my person.
F. Favorite color? Turquoise. I find it calming.
G. Gummy bears or worms? What kind of question is this? Bears. I eat their heads first.
H. Hometown? Louisville, Kentucky. Born and raised. I gots the bluegrass coursing through my veins. And bourbon. And horse-racing. My blood is wild.
I. Favorite Indulgence? Um, again. My Sunday drive thing I do. Really any little bit of me time. Pedicures. I like pedicures too. Hot bath, glass of wine, and a magazine.
J. January or July? Well, since I pretty much want to hog-tie January and butcher it (What? Too much? Can’t help it. January is on my shit list.) Cold, dark, depressing. Did I mention cold, dark, and depressing? I have to go with July.
K. Kids? Ah yes. You know these people too. Leo, Gus, Matilda, Oscar. My four loves. Sweet when they’re sleeping like that no?
L. Life isn’t complete without? Hookers and Blow. Just kidding. If Mitchell were doing a meme, that’s what he would have said. He also would have been just kidding. But that’s his standard answer for a lot of things.
M. Marriage date? 12.17.05
O. Oranges or Apples. Neither. My answer to this is mangos. I keep them frozen. Frozen mangos are one of my go-to snacks.
P. Phobias? Bugs that are big and disgusting. Like roaches or something. Little spiders I can handle. I once killed a spider making his way up our family room window with the biggest, fattest book I could find. I actually threw the book at the window. I also ended up breaking the glass out of the window. Take that you damn spider. Mitchell was not amused.
Q. Quotes? Geeeez. I’m a quote girl. I love them. There are just too many good ones out there. But here’s one. “Write it on your heart that every day is the best day of the year.” –Ralph Waldo Emerson.
R. Reasons to smile? I’ve got five reasons right here:
S. Season of choice? Fall. I love back to school time. The smell of school supplies. Cooler weather after a hot, humid summer. The colors. Jeans and hoodies. Pumpkins. Halloween and Thanksgiving. Such a fun time of the year.
T. Tag 5 People. I feel like I’m late to the party on this one and you’ve probably already been tagged. If you are reading this and you have not yet played, consider yourself tagged! You’re it.
U. Unknown fact about me? I’ve been in therapy a few different times in my life. For a few different reasons. That’s as specific as I’d like to get for now.
V. Vegetable? Steamed cauliflower. Lots of butter. Mmm.

W. Worst habit? Losing things. Is this considered a habit? I don’t know. I just can’t seem to find my phone, keys, wallet, purse. My mind. I lose that thing ten times a day. At least.
X. Xray or Ultrasound? Ultrasound. But not the one where you find out the gender of the baby. Some things are better left as surprises!

Y. Your favorite food? Most anything that doesn’t contain gluten. But if I have to narrow it down…Mexican. I pretty much lived on Mexican food throughout my pregnancies so it’s no wonder my children like it too. I can’t tell you how enjoyable it is to go to a restaurant and order food where all six people are down with it.
Z. Zodiac sign? Taurus. I looked up Taurus’s strength words: Dependable. Persistent. Loyal. Patient. Generous. Ha. Yo, I am the bull.
